Sarah Warshavsky

Actor - Singer - Certified Voice Teacher

About Me

A born and raised New Yorker, hailing from the Upper West Side!

Hello there! I’m so happy you stumbled into my corner of the internet.

I can proudly say that after 24 years, I am still based in New York City! And can you blame me? Despite my fear of pigeons (yes, really), I can’t help but feel that NYC and I were simply meant to be.

I’m a proud graduate of Barnard College, where I obtained a B.A. in Music and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. My love for the arts has always existed alongside critical theory- in fact, I find it impossible for one field to exist without the other. Theatre is a medium that helps us understand our past, present, and how we can shape our future.

As an actor, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to work at regional theaters across the country, an off-broadway show, regional opera, and this past fall, I got to perform as a swing on one stop of a national tour.

Voice Lessons!

In addition to my day-to-day performance endeavors, I’m a certified voice teacher!

My voice studio was founded on restorative singing, affordable training, and joyful collaboration.

I believe in training the entire voice (everything from your deepest fry to your squeakiest whistle), and I work to facilitate a mindful, healthy connection between the voice and physical body. I encourage singers to be brave enough to venture into unfamiliar vocal territory so that they can achieve a well-rounded, balanced voice.

As an advocate for continued education, I regularly attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to stay up-to-date on vocal pedagogy.
